Tangeni Ekandjo

Mr Tangeni Junias Ekandjo is a professional male with 22 years experience in the fishing industry. He is currently employed as a Payroll consultant for Totus consulting since January 2021.

Education:

• He successfully completed an HR Management Development programme NQ Level (7) with the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. (2017)
• He also holds an Advance labour Law Diploma NQ Level (8) from the University of South Africa (Unisa).(2015)
• His other accolades includes certificates and several training courses in HR Management.

His professional career dates back to 1999 when he started working as a Fleet Officer for the giant fishing company Pescanova in Luderitz.

Due to his expertise and extensive experience, as well as business expansion, Pescanova reassigned him to permanently relocate to the fishing town of Walvis Bay. In Walvis, Ekandjo then moved on to work for two more giant (established) fishing companies, namely, Namsov Fishing and Tunacor Fishing.

Mr Ekandjo specializes in vessel fleet operations and payroll. He is a powerful force in the fishing industry and uses his skills, experience and positive attitude to encourage others to be the best they can be.

Ekandjo is inspired by his wife & children. In his free time, he loves playing golf or chill at home with extended family and friends. He is also an avid traveller that loves visiting different parts of the world and believes in the motto that ….”Every once in a while take the scenic route.”
