Totus Consulting operates two offices, namely in Walvis Bay and Windhoek and employs 7 consultants and associational service providers.

The group’s aim is to combine its expert knowledge on each relevant aspect of the client’s business into a single service product to offer clients with customised management advisory service to solve the most pressing and complex people challenges that organizations face today.

Company Profile

Totus Consulting Group is the successor of the Weder Daiber Serrer Consulting Group. Was established in 1991 and operates two offices, namely in Walvis Bay and Windhoek. It employs 7 consultants with 2 associated service providers.

Since 2003 Totus Consulting has been operating in core consulting functions of human resources administration, industrial relations, strategic planning and team building program facilitation. Its services include learning and development, payroll administration, human resources policy review and development, recognition & rewards as well as organisation development and change management.

It aims to combine its expert knowledge on each relevant aspect of the client’s business into a single service product to offer clients with customised human resources management advisory service that speaks at solving their organisations‘ most pressing and complex people challenges.

The Totus Consulting Group prides itself with being licensed to use the products and services of BIOSS Southern Africa.

BIOSS are the owners of highly acclaimed work technologies, which have proven to be most effective in organisational design projects as well as assessing people capabilities and determining their potential. This enables clients to match people with work requirements in the present and with future business needs.

Ndelitungapo Omotuli ‘Katchina’ Shiluwa

Co-Owner of Totus consulting

Managing member and Consultant with 11 years of experience in the consulting field, prior to becoming a co-owner of Totus consulting, Katchina worked for the NovaNam Group of Companies as the Group’s Head of Training and Policies and with Gendor as Head of Department for Human Resources. During this period, she gained up to 5 years’ experience at middle management level.

She currently manages the coastal operations with expert knowledge in the following HR policy formulations, organisational development, talent management, recruitment and selection, training and development, facilitating and implementing strategic plans, industrial relations as well as personnel administration including payroll services.

She is currently enrolled in the African Directors program with the University of Stellenbosch. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree (B-TECH) HR Management and National Diploma in HR management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Katchina further serves as a director / manager in other business namely Vision Africa and Mergence Investment Managers (Namibia) Propriety Limited.

Her working experience has been vast and insightful.


Niels Erwin Serrer

Co-Owner of Totus consulting

Niels Erwin Serrer been a Managing Member and Consultant with the Totus Consulting Group since 2003, with expert knowledge in the following areas general human resources management, organisational development, Industrial relations, facilitating and implementing strategic plans, conflict management, training and development, recruitment & selection at various levels, negotiations, restructuring and affirmative action.

Prior to establishing Totus, Niels worked for the Olthaver group of companies as Human Resources Manager & Industrial Relations & Services Manager for Namibia Dairies and Namibian Breweries, during this time he gained 12 years working experience at middle and senior management level.

Over the years, he has successfully facilitated and implemented various major projects and clients, including the Bidvest Group of Companies, Trans world Cargo, African Marketing, African Group of Companies, NSI, Namibian Roads Authority and others.

Niels has served a two-year term as the President of Institute for Personnel Management of Namibia and as a Chairperson and employer appointed Trustee for the Ohlthaver& List Retirement Fund. He is currently a member the Namibian Employers Federation’s Labour Law Committee.

Renate Van Wyk

Hr Administrator - Consultant

Consultant, who joined Totus in early 2017. Emerging from a comprehensive administrative background; Renate started out in commerce and later joined various publishing houses in Namibia, who would greatly benefit from her vast experience.

Having previously worked for Macmillan and Wordweaver, she was responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Print production (procurement); order allocation; maintaining and updating of filing systems; managing the archives; arranging exhibitions as well as book launches and much more.

Renate also served as representative for the Association of Namibian Publishers on the National Legal Deposit Committee and as representative on the Employment Equity Committee.

She is flexible, goal-driven and works well under pressure.

Hr Administrator - Consultant

Human Resources Consultant, who joined Totus in April 2012. Prior to joining Totus she worked for Survey Warehouse (Pty) Ltd for 4 years as an Administration / Office Manager. She has a Certificate of Recognition in Human Resource Development and ViP Payroll System Practice.

Boasting a comprehensive administrative background; AA meeting facilitation and reporting, human resources benefits and administration, maintain client’s personnel records and database on a payroll system, wage processing, reviews, reconciliations and reporting, IR, ensuring health & safety compliance are Madelein core functions.

Madelein pays attention to detail and is focus-orientated.
